On Monday, November 25, President Obama will be in Beverly Hills for a high dollar fundraiser for the Democratic Party. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi will be there as well.
L.A. activist Lauren Steiner, and her crack team from Occupy Venice and the No War on Syria Coalition, have planned an excitingrally and march to tell Obama to “Flush the TPP!” They are building an eight foot long train similar to the one used in recent Flush the TPP actions in D.C.
ALSO: the 30-foot banner that was dropped from the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office in Washington, D.C. (you may have caught the national news reports of activists who scaled the building dressed as construction workers!) is being flown out from this past week’s actions in Salt Lake City so we can proudly display it here! And we have five great coalition partners joining us as speakers to discuss all the major issue areas that will be affected by the TPP!
