Thelma Taormina in Houston, Texas stopped the installation of a smart meter at her house. She had posted a sign saying “No Smart Meter”.
He came by 3 times. Then he drove around to the back side of her property and jumped her fence. She was in the backyard in front of our meter. He came running over, he shoved her away from the meter. She asked him to leave, he wouldn’t. Then she tried to put her hand on the meter and he kept shoving her. He pushed her hand away 7 times.
She finally got him to leave by bringing out her gun. She never pointed it at him and never took the safety off, but it got him to leave the property. She did not point it at him, but made her point.
The meter dude was 6’1 and 230 lbs guy.
The electric company is called CenterPoint.
