Looks like the SLO Board of Supervisors is about to make a critical decision about shipping toxic crude by rail up and down the pacific coast–which means right through Ventura.
PLEASE CALL THEM
(See # below).

Urge the San Luis Obispo County Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors to soundly reject the Phillips 66 proposed rail spur.  Their decision could open the market to long trains carrying crude oil through Ventura. The comment deadline is in one week — November 24th.

Tell the San Luis Obispo County Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors to use their vote to block this dangerous project now.
