In reality they don’t need to question the big news outlets on how they get their stories, how they determine what to write on etc. They already know how. Aren’t the mainstream news outlets mostly told which stories to report on? I mean told which sources of stories to report on. They have their streams of information and its probably true they stick to those. The reporters are kept in the dark (most of them) and the people that read the news mostly don’t investigate the news themselves.
The only solution is more independent news resources. You don’t need a study for that. If that was their true purpose they would be promoting that. What could this possibly really be about? Think about it.
