Award-Winning Film “Bitter Seeds” screening Sun. 9/2 @ 3pm Ventura.- raises questions about the human cost of genetically-modified agriculture and the future of how we grow things. Directed by Micha X. Peled, this film has won 18 international awards, aired on over 30 television channels and screened in more than 100 film festivals. Ventura screening at the general monthly meeting of Citizens for Peaceful Resolutions (www.c-p-r.net) . Discussion follows about California Right to Know Proposition #37 on the November Ballot (www.carighttoknow.org) and its significance for local food security here and abroad. $5 suggested donation.
