Fracking is set to expand in California even though it routinely employs toxic chemicals like lead, arsenic, chromium 6 and benzene that go unmonitored and unregulated.
THE CHEMICALS USED ARE NOT REPORTED (Thanks to Cheney fracking is exempted from regulation under the Safe Drinking Water Act. What a joke!).
Your voice is urgently needed at an upcoming fracking workshop run by the Department of Conservation to solicit input on potential regulations. Please join us in demanding a ban that will protect our environment from this industry, which is associated with more than 1,000 documented cases of water contamination across the country.
