The bill that would have effectively eliminated freedom on the web has been stopped for now. HOPEFULLY WE CAN PERMANENTLY END THIS TYPE OF THING.
Look what happened! What a great impact, lets not let the momentum stop, as you may know they will be re-voting soon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:SOPA_initiative/Learn_more

Keep passing along the info and calling, texting, tweeting, emailing, FBing, Blogging and mailing our Reps to stop and our friends, families to get involved! I call on my breaks, at lunch and on my way home from work. Just to keep myself feeling like I’m doing something. The above article really reminds me that we can make a difference and we did make a difference.
These are our representatives:
Rep. Lois Capps
Ph. 202-225-3601
Rep. Elton Gallegly
202-255-5811
Sen. Barbara Boxer

Sen. Dianne Feinstein

Call each of them, pass out their numbers. Tell them what you think about having our freedom and rights taken away, specifically regarding SOPA and PIPA. PLEASE, we have the support of Wikipedia, Google and other huge companies. This is a change that is possible to make.

This sensationalist headline is confusing and misleading. SOPA/PIPA is not defeated yet, and we must not let down our vigilance, or let ourselves be lulled into a false sense of security. The Blackout was great, it got the attention this protest needed, but we need to keep the energy just as high throughout the weekend and into the vote!
